Situated just outside Newton Stewart, the Creebridge Caravan Park is a family owned and run Holiday Park in South West Scotland where a genuinely warm welcome is guaranteed. It is easily accessible and only 2 hours drive from Glasgow or the English border.

Creebridge offers both self-catering luxury Holiday caravans and a chalet available for hire at very reasonable rates. The park sports all modern amenities including hook-ups, good toilet and shower blocks, public telephone, launderette and a children's play area.

Visitor Attractions

The park makes an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area which boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the country. The unspoilt Galloway forest is well worth the visit alone! In addition, the area is renowned for shooting and fishing, some fascinating historical events and much more.

For the golfers out there, Creebridge residents are welcome to play at the beautiful 18-hole golf course at Newton Stewart Golf Club, with discounted rates available for Creebridge holidaymakers.

Booking deposit is £100.00 per week. Caravan hire charges include site fees, gas and electricity. Please inform us if planned arrival is after 6pm on the day booked. All the caravans have microwaveable ovens and continental quilts. Caravans may be available for the weekend and odd nights.

The 7stanes are world-class mountain biking centres that span the south of Scotland. Their award-winning trails offer some of the best mountain biking in the country and attract riders from all over the UK and beyond.

You don’t have to be an experienced mountain biker to enjoy these famous trails: there are a wide range of routes to suit beginners, families and experts. Plus, many of the centres also have skills areas for you to practise your technique.

Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival

Not-for-profit traditional music, dance and language festival, the Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival features traditional music concerts, workshops, tune sessions, song sessions, pipe band, Highland dancing competitions, tune and song writing competitions; to encourage, develop, support and promote traditional music, dance and language learning, participation and performance in Wigtownshire.

This is one of the best rural arts festivals in Dumfries & Galloway.

Newton Stewart Museum

Housed in the former St John's Church, the museum is home to a large collection of artifacts, all set in their own section: Nursery; Tradesman's Tools; Carpentry; Diary; Kitchen Smithy; Fabrics & Clothing; Trophies & Medals; Books; Maps & Artwork, plus many more.

You can perhaps trace your family tree with the help of some of our volunteers. The museum holds records of many local families and numerous photographs of local landmarks.

Whatever the season, there's always something to see and do at Kirroughtree. Even at night, when the stars put on a show! Relax in the visitor centre, enjoy the view and fuel up for the trails. Wander to the Wild Watch Hide to spot red squirrels and birds, or meander to Bruntis Loch. There's adventure play, mountain bike trails and quiet forest roads for gentle family cycles.

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Galloway hills, Newton Stewart offers spectacular scenery to complement this mature, 18-hole parkland course.

The course offers all-year-round golf due to its proximity to the Solway Firth and the Gulf Stream, giving the local climate a mild temperate feel.

Wigtown show is held annually on the first Wedensday in August. Established in 1808 it has a long history of showcasing the local Agricultural industry as well as craft & food exhibitors as well as the south of Scotlands largest poultry show.
